start:
as doge Venice in 867

Problem:
My patrician family got a game over when the doge (of another dynasty) died and some other dynasty inherited the title.

situation:
My dynasty had lost the doge title when my first character died and from then on were patricans with a palace only.
The next Doge had conquered a city in Ancona and had two holdings (cities) in Venice (one that i had build earlier; see other bug report).
When that doge died, another dynasty inherited the republic (no surprise), i get a game over and my character was displayed as a landless character (in the upper left corner).

Here you go (text is in german):

The history text below says, that doge Francesco inherited the title of the Republic of Venice, the Grand City of Venice and the city of Murano from doge Pietro (the doge in the republic window).

(Which is kind of wierd, as a Francesco would be from the Tradonico dynasty, but they weren't ranking as the heir with the highest number.
The predicted heir was from the Orseolo dynasty, but that of course can happen. I don't know how that random factor works.)

Maybe it has something to do with building a holding in the capitall county, just like the bug report about a newly build holding staying with the republic instead of the dynasty:

Sadly i can't provide a savefile, as i usually don't save automatically.

If you want any more info, please tell.

too lazy to read short version:

I lost my patrician status and thus got a game over when the doge died and another patrician dynsty inherited .
I had no holdings, only the palace, while the doge, besides Venice and the town of Ancona, also held Murano in the province of Venice which my dynasty had build when i was doge earlier..
