Well, I am happy about everything but the 50% overseas penalty (since my only game is a mp game where I am portugal....) I already had to deal with one of the worst manpower's due to overseas provinces now I lose even more money overseas....good thing I have viceroys and can now build constables

Read the rest of the thread. Apparently it is still possible to get more.

EDIT: Verified. I got about 142% yesterday against Denmark after reducing them to 0% war capacity (but not 100% warscore). No provinces taken, just vassalization, money, and force creation of Oldenburg.

Is Nationalism working correctly? All the sudden I get a 7.8% minimum revolt chance in 10 provinces I had taken (including pagan ones). 80% chance per year of a revolt for the next 25 years? Seems a bit much. So you can expect any annexed province that you don't have a core on to revolt 2x before getting a core?

The displayed %% is higher, but the effect is now closer to what nationalism was in EU2, which was a real issue. In EU3 vanilla nationalism was a joke.

Btw: colonial range is the single greatest feature ever to enter a paradox game. ever. ever. ever.

Perhaps but having to play whack-a-rebel after annexing pagans is not the best idea either.

Converting their provinces doesn't help (except for getting rid of the extra untolerated culture RR).

so now that a demand over 100% warscore cannot be demanded off the AI, wars will be much longer yes?
and using france as an example, one would have to overrun the whole country several times before they can be wiped out or vassalized..

Minor, but it looks like no official fix for the ATI NI display problem was included. I reinstalled the game and patched and had the NI problem again. Downloading the 'unofficial' fix in the Tech Support forum still cleared up the problem so it wasnt a big deal but it just seems odd that such a fix wasnt included in the patch.

On the plus side, I really like the roll-over help on the War Capacity screen that breaks down the percentage war score. I havent had enough time to fight a colonial war yet, but so far the AI does seem a bit more reasonable in peace deals.

I agree that War Score system was too easy without patch but I think (I have to end my World Domination :p so I haven't downloaded patch yet) that with good WS and WC you should be able to force your opponent to release even the biggest country.
