Out of a sudden, i got a message to choose an ambition to become a councillor.
I was an independent catholic king of Bohemia , but still with the tribal title.

I have save files, before and right after it happened.

Not sure anymore when i did it, but i joined a rebellion in Aquitaine for for a claim by the duke of Aquitaine on the kingdom. He had no claim. A plot ?
Why could i even join ? I wasn't allied.

While the war in Aquitaine went on, i tried to do a holy war on a one county pagan, just as i did all the time before.
Suddenly i couldn't and the tooltip said something alng the lines of "King Soandso (me) is not part of the rebellion". ???

Reloading didn't help.

I'll play on and see what happens. Probably related by me joining this revolt in Aquitaine. Mmh...

I can't say exactly why you were able to join the revolt, without looking at the save, but claims and such usually enable other rulers to join.

As for being able to choose an ambition to become a councilor. It is a known bug that joining a revolt as an independent character, you gain access to all councilor ambitions, even though you shouldn't have these available.

Also, it is WAD that if you are a part of an ongoing revolt, you are unable to declare any new wars. So that conflict has to end before you can start another war.

Hmm, sorry if late, i could have sworn to have reponded earlier...

Anyway, regarding joing the revolt, well i had no connection whatsoever with Aqitaine or any participant there. Hmm..maybe very indirectly, but i didn't check all possibilities.

But, would you like to have a save file ?
Just asking, as i don't bother uploading saves anymore if there's no need for it.
