What it says on the tin. I can't find it right now, but I believe I read about a recent change to consider a spouse as a "close relative" for events that check it - this appears to have had additional, undesired effects. By becoming a close relative, all attraction effects are ended, and the Pope will always consider the marriage to be consanguinous, providing a huge boost to his chance of approving the divorce. Note the example below, where Irmintrud doesn't mind Charles' gluttony, and where the pope will happily divorce them on the grounds that they're married and therefore related to each other.
Not a huge problem, but probably worth fixing.
edit: I guess the gluttony was randomly generated. But he had it this game, and Irmintrud didn't experience the attraction malus from it that she should have.
