2.1.4 - Ibadi Is still a Heresy

Isn't Ibadi a heresy in the game? I'm not familiar with the muslim religion and their heresies but if you are saying Ibadi is an heresy IRL then it's correctly implemented no?
I think he refers to how Ibadi is supposed to no longer be a heresy after SoA (it's a new Muslim branch with its own heresies). It's still a heresy for me, but I always assumed that this would only change with SoA installed, and since I haven't gotten that (or RoI) yet, I never fretted about it.
Likewise, without SoA I can't get heresies to "overcome" the parent religion as it seems can happen (took over Catholicism as Fraticcelli, still a heresy).

In reality, Ibadism predates both Sunni and Shia beliefs. The Devs promised that it would become it's own Muslim branch as opposed to being a heresy, and Johan has actually stated it is already supposed to be it's own branch, but lo-and-behold, it is in fact not its own branch yet. And I have every expansion installed.
Currently, Ibadi is a heresy and will remain a heresy for the time being. The goal is to make it become its own branch in the future if time allows.
