[2.1.2.1] Patricians with no holdings don't suffer distance penalties

A patrician with no holdings beyond his family palace does not suffer any distance penalties to trade post costs.
As a result, patricians end up setting up trade posts far away from their realm, since there's nothing stopping them from doing so and some of the far away counties are considered more valuable than nearby ones (E.G., Constantinople, Sjælland, Holland).

Patricians with normal holdings don't get this issue.
Depending on the start date, there's anything from 4 to 12 patricians that don't have any regular holdings, so strange trade post placement is a common issue.

Since the Spinola family lead died and his city was Open Elective, his heir ended up with no normal holdings. He was thus free to set up shop in Normandy.
So even if every patrician started with a city, the end result will still be nonsensical trade post placement.

Having the same issue (it's not just Meneth). Don't feel like I can really play the game until fixed...

(EDIT: I have a Steam subscription, and only patch/update when Steam does. AFAIK this only started when Rajahs of India came out.)

Good description of the problem Meneth! I didn't notice the pattern that it had to do with holding-less patricians.
