e3 map is a mess and it will take at least an year to make it reasonably well i.e playable.Its just to ambitious.Also mind that there is a very high probability they will stop working on it for two reasons 1 real life issues,2 hoi3 offers more possibility and is easier to mod.Hope this mod stay alive at least for half an year to make a reasonably good beta.fingers crossed.
¿A mess? E3 is an awesome map, PTEAP map is a mess. A half-ended project of a dead mod (See France, or UK, for example, they aren't modded).
They aren't moded cause they don't need it. It isn't a total world modification, just a Central Europe modification to fit into a good ww1 and now ww3 scenario.

Stealing the Cold war techtree would be interesting, but we really need one that goes till the 90's. Are you interested in doing one for us or know someone that can do it?
Well, anything can be perfect. The perfection is having 12k provinces into hoi2, but that is just possible into hoi3. But Hoi3 is slow in my pc (is it in yours?). Whatever.
In my PC too, but because my graphic card is a mess.

They said that they won't work with HOI3.Its too big for their computers.
