Events are being done just by Tedesco, and he works so, since I'm dumb and don't know how to do them, and neither Gl. It will take some more time to do them.

I suggest 0.1 version without the events now.
And release the version with the events later.

This will make some people stop anticipating for the mod I think

Just dropping in to let everybody know I'm not dead or stranded in the mountains. I've been trying real hard to get a job and I've been busy going to interviews, sending out resumes, and such. I have a fair amount of stuff going on in my daily life, so I'll have to make a point to set some time aside to progress more on the mod scenario stuff in the next week or so.

I haven't forgotten about the mod but I figure that resolving my unemployment/lack of job issue is more pressing than spending hours doing work for a game.

One of the main problems is that I don't know how to program events. If somebody wants to have a skype voice chat or an MSN voice chat, or some sort of chat, I will tell them what the events ought to do and what the text ought to say, but I don't know how to program the stuff, at least not in a particularly effective manner. I can give you just about all the historical or background information you would need, but that's about it.

I have several questions, suggestions, and requests.


First- is it possible for this mod to be transferred to HOI 3 once it (the game) is released? How compatible will the modding scripts/event scripts/etc be between the two games? How much work would be required to make this mod work for HOI 3, does anybody know? That way instead of being just another HOI 2 mod, we could be the first serious HOI 3 mod. Those are my questions/suggestions.

Now for my request...

I need a team of at least two (not counting myself) people, ideally three, who have fluent English skills, are comfortable operating on an Eastern Time schedule (or plus/minus 1-2 hours), have a basic understanding of historical events, and know how to script/write events. I'll tell them in detail what the events should do and what should be represented, and they can write the events to make it happen. I should be able to work on a number of upcoming Fridays as I don't do much on Friday. I am usually busy Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning/afternoon but free in the evenings. If somebody can assign me a team of find volunteers for a team, we can work out schedules.

I think that is quite impossible to predict modding in HoI3, altough I think Paradox will mantain the big possiblities for modding. If i'm wrong, please someone correct me.
