Two things-

Firstly, after being overwhelmed with all sorts of recent happenings, I am once again actively working on this. I am working on stuff for this right now... East German tech teams, Czech tech teams, and the Czech government, that's what I will be doing over the next hour or so. If I have time tonight, and can find the Warsaw Pact info, I'll finish up their tech teams and governments.

Secondly, "inlanding" is not a word.

I've encountered several things in regards to GDR tech teams... To be honest, it doesn't seem like they had much industry, at least not much geared towards war. Perhaps this is the legacy of the Soviets dismantling virtually all useful German industry and taking back into the USSR in the aftermath of the Second World War?

I have found a LOT of useful doctrine research organizations and such, but virtually nothing that will help fuel the development of better tanks or anything along those lines. It is worth noting that the East Germans basically received their weapons from the USSR. Weapons that unlike those sent to, say Bulgaria, were state of the art Soviet weapons, not purposely downgraded models intended to export to untrustworthy allies or third world client states.

Here's what I have as of now-

GDR (East Germany) tech teams-

Nationale Volksarmee [National People’s Army] (skill 6) centralized execution, general equipment, infantry focus, large unit tactics, and training

Landstreitkrafte [Ground Forces- NPA] (skill 5) centralized execution, combined arms focus, individual courage, large unit tactics, and training

Volksmarine [People's Navy] (skill 3) decentralized execution, naval artillery, naval training, seamanship, and small taskforce tactics

Luftverteidigung [Air Forces of the National People’s Army] (skill 4) aeronautics, aircraft testing, bomber tactics, fighter tactics, and piloting

Grenztruppen der DDR [Border Troops of the DDR] (skill 3) decentralized execution, electronics, general equipment, infantry focus, and training

Freie Deutsche Jugend [Free German Youth] (skill 2) centralized execution, individual courage, infantry focus, large unit tactics, and training

Volkspolizei [People’s Police] (skill 3) centralized execution, general equipment, individual courage, infantry focus, and training

Kampfgruppen der Arbeiterklasse [Combat Groups of the Working Class] (skill 3) centralized execution, general equipment, infantry focus, small unit tactics, and training

Fallschirmjagerbataillon Willi Sanger (skill 6) decentralized execution, individual courage, infantry focus, small unit tactics, and training

Ministerium fur Staatssicherheit [Stasi- Ministry for State Security] (skill 7) decentralized execution, electronics, management, mathematics, and training

Trabant (skill 3) electronics, industrial engineering, management, and mechanics

Interflug (skill 4) aeronautics, aircraft testing, decentralized execution, and piloting

Handelsorganisation (skill 3) industrial engineering and management

VEB Robotron (skill 3) electronics, management, and mathematics

Greifswald Nuclear Power Plant (skill 5) chemistry, industrial engineering, nuclear engineering, and nuclear physics

Joint Institute of Nuclear Research [East Germany Branch/Members] (skill 4) chemistry, management, mathematics, nuclear engineering, and nuclear physics

Ohh and we could have a war between Bolivia and Peru and/or Chile:D

In that time South america was very VERY estable. There is no possibility of wars... Almost all nations have dictatoriships that were SCs. So no war in SA.

When lived Che Guevara? When did he die?
And in what country in South America did he tried to make revolution?:D

K. Go see that at Wikipedia. Che is a hero, but at Cuba. After Cuba, we had to wait till 93 (I guess) to see Chaves at the power at Venezuela and Lula - 02. So... hehehe... No revolution!;)

Just to notice:
Koevoet, isn't there any other techteam for DDR? Cause come on, you gave me 3 or 4 techteams for the same thing: people's army.;)

I spent over an hour looking for weapons/defense companies in East Germany, I wasn't able to find any. That doesn't mean there aren't any, I just need to look harder.

Did East Germany produce most of its own weaponry/equipment or did they receive most of it from the USSR?

Maybe there should just be regular events for them, shortly after the USSR researches a weapon tech, they get the blueprints and the tech activates for them, since the USSR gave them lots of the latest/newest stuff.
