If you try to stack too many planes at one base, they regain organization at an incredibly slow rate, correct?

Also, if they are subjected to repeated attacks they will still lose strength and eventually die, yes?

True, what I meant though was the fact that they can always redeploy their planes to some other base to make it impossible to lose 'em by capturing the said airport

Hatuke, are you still obsecated with South Africa?;) Let their 6 Nukes alone. Let it go.

Obsecated? Dude, I WANT nukes for South Africa. I want to see a African nuke hitting Moscow/London, I WANT that that level of awesomeness and I carve it. Bad.

Somebody mentioned the Arab League? I can help with that stuff, after I finish up with the basics for South Africa. I can get basic military information for the Arab League nations.

I have a very long and thoroughly detailed book Arabs at War that details all the wars that the Arab armies have taken part in from 1948 to 1991, it should prove useful for this.

Okay, somebody get this guy a paycheck right this instance.

If somebody wants to get me a list of what the most pressing matters are, I'll start with them as soon as I finish off the South African OOB. I need to find air force information and naval information (stuff I'm not quite sure about, it's not in my books and they got rid of a LOT of equipment over the last two decades). I've got some of their most prominent ground units and I'll finish out the regulars and reserves, but if anybody knows a good source for naval information, it'd be much appreciated. I was never much into navies anyway.

Igro, can you make those OOBs into a real OOB file? Like
Division =
...
Please? If you wanna, I can send you the Soviet Union and All remaining Warsaw Pact inc files. Do you wanna?

Sure, I wanna:rolleyes:...

but...

nevertheless....

what about units? I asked you before and nothing happend, but I realy sure that this is very important to revise them correctly.

F.e. in vanilla there are many type of infantry divisions, but in modern era in only small countries sought divisions are existed.
In WP there are only (I mean divisions) moto, tank, naval (marine) and airborne, but new units appeared, like artillery divisions, helicopters divisions|regiment|squadron and so on.

Then, if we take armour divisions, which types of them are designing?
Again in WP in comissions simultaneously were T-55 (1958 design), T-64 (1967 design), T-72 (1973 design), T-80 (1976 design), and in Rumania even T-34 (57th RVA Motorized Rifle Division in Braila)!

The same situation in all other units:(

Thought?

Even today, South Africa has nine main airforce bases and at least a few airforce stations.

Look at the USA and Soviet Union, they had airbases all over the place. Even today the USA still has about one or two major airforce bases in every state or every other state.

I can reduce things and switch from a lot of small bases and far-flung airstrips, to several massive centralized airbases, it just won't be very historical/accurate.

Bases and installations are the things that slow down the game by far the most. I would recommend a bare minimum if you want people to play your mod further than a few years due to extreme 'laggyness'.

Trust me, I have tested this extensively with MDS. :) Was a major problem in pre 1.4 versions of MDS2 and in the Next War Mod (also due to unnecessary high levels of manpower.)

Hey, thanks Killer. I was just wondering why doesn't your scenario have all little bases and air bases. Thanks for reading us and for the info. It's an honor.

Hey, Kris, don't mind that. You can do all them if you wanna. I just asked those to Coldie. You're with us m8.

Koevoet, I give you the cookie of knowledge from mod 1989. It's not an Oscar, but... I can't pay it with Reais.
