Since the game now estends to 1964, I think one should be able to play a Cold War scenario. Now, since this is first and foremost a WWII game, this scenario wouldnt have to be perfect (Cold war techs, units etc.) as it would in a Cold war mod, but I think the next patch should include:

A) Historically correct 1945 scenario: That is, a scenario starting in october 1945 just like the Doomsday scenario, but where the war between the Allies and Comintern has not started, so one can have a little time to organize and plan. Perhabs the "Start world war III" event could trigger anytime soon after the scenario starts.

and/or

B) 1949 scenario: Many players probably prefer to keep the Doomsday scenario unchanged so this scenario is perhabs more preferable. This scenario would start in october 1949 when the Allies and Soviets have ended their military occupation of Germany and both West Germany and East Germany have been established (FGR was established in may, DDR in oct). The new order lasting untill 1989 has been stored in Europe.
