So? You want to watch a history animation played out on a map, or play a strategy game?Originally posted by Burris
1) It was the ardennes
And in 1.01 you could conquer the USSR as Germany with 10 divisions. High standards eh?2) They were French, in 1.01 I had no trouble breaking through the line.
Try playing the scenario again. I'm sure you'll find a way to win. You do want to actually have to work for your victories don't you, and not have them handed to you on a platter or follow history exactly?
Like I said, try replaying it. 7 times out of 10 AI Germany will punch through rather easily.3) This is the 1939 scenario, it's supposed to be slightly more accurate.. (to put it in simple terms)
So turn off the victory message, and either A) use the pause button more to review your territory, or B) go at a slower speed. Put 1 division in every coastal tile. Chances are that will stop whatever lands. If not, then put an armored division or two in reserve to quickly help out your defensive coastal forces. In other words, do what the Germans did historically.4) The British kept attacking Saarbrucken with one unit. ONE UNIT, I won every time, so I kept getting spammed the victory message. Also, the fact that you have to baby sit the German coast is kind of annoying. It should take minimal forces to watch the border..
