If we want to play a new game in 1.3 tonight, then we have two choices, start a new game in 1.3 with the 38 scenario, or start a fresh big campiagn in the 36 scenario. I personlay am leaning towards 36, too fully explore all the changes that have happened. But we will go with what the group decided.

Session start time is 8pm as major is busy till then. Make sure you make a copy of thr WHOLE of the HOI 2 directory, and copy it to another location on your hard drive, then fix your shortcut on your desktop so it runs. That will be your copy of 1.2 so we can still play the sunday game.

Now all you have to do is install 1.3 into your normal hoi 2 directory and you have got it. Make sure yous do all of this before tonight please, so we can have a qucik start.

I would prefer the 1938 game, so that we reduce the amount of time waiting around for war. But if it was a 1936 game I'd probably be more willing to play as someone else possibly Japan. If its 38 then definately Italy.

Edit: also I think we should check that everybody (for whatever reason) has the same version my code is 1.3 SJLN. So hopefully everybody else has that too!

Great session despite the drops, got to November in 1 session, excellent progress.

So far 1.3 is different but better imo, US tech teams have been restructured and make more sense, isntead of using the computers team for tanks I now use the tank team etc...

Im from Australia, live in Townsville been playing HOI inline as long as it has been available. got 1.3 all i need is an Aussie crew to hook up with.

i can play from 6pm-12am weekdays

and i can generally play AALLLL weekend long. I do work so sometimes during the weekdays im not around till 7pm (not usually the case thoug).

Be glad to have you play in our group. Just this particular game is for 6 players only. We have had bad experiences with humans joining in and taking over AI nations, normaly corupts the save. We have another game on sunday nights were we have 8 players but that is in 1.2, had we have to finish it before we start a new game in 1.3. But you could join the new game once it starts. We normaly insist new players play a minor nation for the first game to make sure your committed and learn how this group likes to play it games.

Yes we always welcome new players especially those keen. We play a Sunday game still version 1.2 and a newer game which we can play on any night at the moment 1.3 version. You may have to wait for a new game to start so its a good idea to keep an eye on the forums. Also you can email me at gazzaball@zcts.net if you have any questions and I can send you a list of group rules which I am currently modifying as patch 1.3 has fixed a lot of issues.

BTW Do you have CIV 4? If you do we also play that as well.

Also what sort of connection do you have? cable or a very good ADSL is required. Dial ups are not much good.

Kool, Ive converted to 1.3 now im not going back to 1.2. So im more then happy to hang ten till your new game fires up after your saves and such.

I got 1500/256 internet connection. Generally play weekends with the german and yankee lads never get lag, so all good there. I dont play CIV4 sorry, but if you could send me through your group rules so i could look over that would be great. I cant stand cheaters or exploiters and you can count on me being reliable. Ive won several times with Germany, UK and SU in multiplayer.... I consider my self i bit of a Pro with the USA, Trading usually brings in 200+ suppllies a day and Normandy usually consists of about 400 divisions when i land. Italy is probably my fav nation followed closely by SU. :rofl:

Well we can play Tuesday again, plus im only working till 8.30 friday night, so we can play from 9pm till 12 if yous want as well.
