1.3A1938 New Aussie game starting 8pm Friday 4th November.

This will be a 6 player limit starting on Fridays with a 4 hour session 8pm-12pm maybe longer depending on Group.


Reply if interested....It will run with our existing games so only HOI2 diehards are required.

I am suggesting Mike, Munster, Major, Bumble, GK , RIC, Husayn, Gunships or others.

Rules as per our current Aussie group rules with 2 extra rules as follows:

1/War in Europe starts with Danzig event. Nothing may be done by anyone to cause war earlier.

2/No minor countries not currently in an Alliance may be brought to your side until the Danzig event. You may influence as per normal.

Please note it is in the games interest for the Soviet and German player to come to some agreement for a NAP.

Also we are only playing the 6 major powers Italy, Germany, Japan, USA, UK and USSR.

So please post with prefferred countries.

It was our best game so far thru to 1943...Our main concern was with the minor countries with which people found boring.

Yes BB it was not fun for minors as you dont have enough time to build up.

As for the major players it was our best game by far. It is more balanced and realistic for MP games, that is what the scenario is deisgned for. We have two games in the 36 scenario going so lets try this one again.

And yes you can be the US. Also BB our other games will be played through to completion. The sunday game should be back to normal with omni back to normal and everyones connections should also be great again. Thre game we play on wednesdays and some saturdays will also continue.

i was wondering/hoping if i could maybe join as a smaller nation just so i can see what the mp style of hoi2 is all about having not played mp before think it would be good for me to view rather than get indept into i.e playing finland or yugoslavia just so i can do a lil bit but not interfere in your guys game... but up to you's

Actually thinking about it and after playing Italy in 38 campaign for a little bit, I would really like to join but I can only play til 10:30-11 this friday, you guys should play on and hopefully if I'm ghosted nothing much will happen to Italy. Unless others have any reservations about it then I don't mind if I miss out sniff sniff ...I guess... sniff (not really I don't mind that much)

Gunship will play as Russia, Japan or Germany.

He cannot make posts here for some reason, forum wont let him.

So is this game starting at 8pm Friday. If ric is playing we can rehost when he turns up, as the setup and getting started takes the longest so wont play through to much time.

Ok so far we have the following with prefferred countries:
Bumble.....USA
Munster....Italy
Husyan.....UK
That leaves Gunship, Major and Mike to fight over Japan, Soviets and Germany. I am leaning towards Japan.

If Mike or Major go germany the other will have to take Soviets.

Before we choose a German player I remember we had some concerns over the starting UK IC being greater the German IC. Does anyone thin kthis will be a problem?

I suggest everyone load up the 1938 game and have a look at all the major powers to see if anything needs to be edited before for start or go as is.
