I cannot give fine details about my configuration because I cannot presently access my computer or game. I have not manually installed either patch 1.1 or 1.2. In the grand scenario beginning 1936, I am playing UK. I sent all my land troops to France as expiditionary, but because I wanted conquered provinces to go to UK, I took them off expeditionary status (markers turn back to UK color). I control France, Belgium, and Netherlands units as well, but whenever I use only UK-colored units to take a territory in, say, Germany, it goes to France. Same thing happens when taking Slovakia, Hungary, and Italy. The real kicker is that I take only UK units from Palermo by transport to take land from Italy in Africa. I'm using only UK naval ships. The first territory conquered in Africa went to France!!! What's going on? I did pick the UK flag before starting the scenario, and I AM the UK player. Has anyone noticed this problem? Where exactly, specifically can I go for an explanation of why this happens?

It's a long-hated "bug" that's evidently WAD. To take territory as your own, you cannot attack from any of your Allies' territory. In the case of Britain vs. Germany, your only real option is to do a naval invasion.

The territory in Africa I took with only UK troops belonged originally to France. That's why, in that case, it became a French territory after UK occupation.

Yes. When I use UK troops in amphibious assault, German territories go to UK. When I attack from a territory belonging to the Netherlands, the territory goes to that country.
