1935 English Revolution

I know that England was in a depression in 1935, but this is ridiculous. I get a message that Scotland has declared independence from England. Hmmm, how interesting. I look over at England and it is completely controlled by partisans! A Leninist Scotland is slowly creeping into English land.



1933 scenario on difficult. No coup incited through espionage. No war. How is this possible?

I think it has to do with the early techs. 1933 backs all of the techs to very basic levels where the infantry are not much better than the partisan forces. It seems like techs tend to mess up things with the 1933 scenario. In the last scenario, Germany was smoked by Poland by the end of 1940.

Anyway, the continuation of this revlution:

Scotland proceeded to devastate the partisans and take control of all of England. Just when I thought that there would be a Leninist England, France comes along and lands in Scotland. After it follows in the Scottish footsteps and eventually annexes Scotland, of course that land is given to England. This picture is incidentally from right before France annexed Scotland.

That's Cornwall, which has declared independence from partisan-controlled Great Britain. The colors just happen to coincide.

Well actually it's not the techs that mess up the game,
it's rather that english forces are at 10% strenght till about 1936.
Combine that with no more than 30 available IC...
That makes it hard for them to fight off even partisans in Palestine in early game, even for players.
