In 1933 scenario France and USA are unplayable.. they have only 3-4 IC and they even can not afford their supply needs.. What do you think about that ?

Are you talking about vanilla 1933, or World-In-Flames 1933, pafnus? What you describe sounds more like WIF. I don't think France is meant to be playable in WIF.

For the USA, switch the Armaments Minister to Franklin McVeigh or maybe Andrew Mellon, lower Dissent with Comprehensive Investments in research, and spend your money on the decisions that create industry or increase the IC percentage. In a month you'll have 15-20 IC out of 475, in three to four months you'll have 75-80 IC out of 480. Enough to wisely start your military buildup.

I edited UK, USA and France peace time modifiels. :D Now USA have 300 IC in 1933 :D lol. That game will be enjoyable :D

You should also use the "freedom" cheat to make USA the USSA

I posted this somewhere else before, here's my strategy how I got 1933 France working:

1) Put all your IC into Consumer Goods. You *need* to get that dissent down.
2) This will make your supplies go down. But since you're producing consumer goods, use your money to purchase supplies from your allies.
3) Do this for a while until you get a decent amount of IC available.

A design flaw, as France can not even produce supply for its pre-war standing army, nor produce historical ships.
You can. Set auto trade to stockpile supplies and export everything else, put deal threshold to low. Then buy supplies with money and blueprints from your allies. You will have enough supplies until you can get the dissent back down. If you want to be sure, retreat all your forces back into France mainland. If theres revolts in your colonies, either just let them create a nation even if its gamey or try to get an ally to intervene for you.

Ok, You can (and if one want go gamey, one can also use cheat codes). IMHO France should not be forced to use such a plan. It's not fun at all and still ahistorical.

You have to consider what JRHINDO wrote as a workaround if you want to avoid the use of a cheat, until this real issue will be fixed in a later patch.

USA is perfectly playable, you just need to implement the economic decisions. By October, without changing ministers, I got up to 39 available IC, then dropped to 32 after a bank bankruptcy event. My dissent is 0.

You don't even need to switch to a new (Republican) Armament's minister.

Ship all your ground units off to an extended stay in England. Rebase all your planes and ships there, as well.

Now, you can keep your money for national investments (lowering dissent). And soon enough, focus IC on expanding the industrial base.

Call it... "the Frano-British long-term joint training exercise agreement."

They agree to host your troops for a while. And then later, you host theirs... if you know what I'm sayin' (they'd better show up, anyway). So fair's fair, IMO.

As for the USA, you get the state loan and New Deal decisions right at the beginning, along w/ a bunch of others. It's no big deal (wait, no pun intended). I wouldn't build much of anything in terms of units, though. Look at how long it takes to produce units, given the slider settings. Much better to focus IC on industrial buildup, and then later start cranking out a bunch of units once you're not so isolationist. Even the AI only produces a very few amount of units (mainly just a few planes), during the pre-war years.

France does appear to be broken. I;ve tried it a couple of time. I know they were really messed up economically but not THAT bad.

The US is easy to play in 1933. Don't build any new units, take all the events that help your economy, and soon you will have 0 dissent and be in great shape.

Strangely the AI seems to start with 18 IC, which you can work with; it's still darn weak but you can do something with it. Darn cheating AI.
