Myself and two others(CG, von Manstein) would like to set up a game on the 1914 scenario where instead of it just being a war between two sides and then it's done, you have every country playing ultimately for itself, in an open arena of diplomacy. You're thrust into the great war of course, but as time goes on and events unfold, you may find yourself wanting to sign a separate peace and make a change in foreign policy. Or, you have a victor in the great war, and after the dust settles, the alliance of the winners may no longer have a purpose and become disbanded as its members now eye each other with jealousy and distrust. Open diplomacy allows for a longer, and we think richer game that's able to evolve and unfold in a natural way once the initial conflict is resolved(though, due to geopolitical reasons, alliances may also remain on a mostly historical basis, depending on what makes sense).
We play Sundays-Thursdays(not every day, but as much as we can), mostly in the evening America time. Could use at least two more players, in order to fill:
Germany
UK
Russia
France
Austria
If there are more fanatical DH players out there, it'd be nice to fill Italy, the OE, USA and Japan as well. Though, I think if we had just five, that would give us a pretty good size for this.
