Thanks E-man! There was an Imperial War Cabinet in 1917, but it did not result in a committee to study the future. For now, I'll just advise that it is something worth keeping an eye on.
This just gets more interesting, I really hope you can keep the Empire in tact, it shall be interesting what the commite sees as the future....

Hopefully soon or, if we dare to dream, something even more spectacularly over the top. Personally I'm hoping for an airship, covered in Vickers .50" for anti-fighter work and a 18"/40 naval gun. One of the ones that were too big for HMS Furious.
Sadly I doubt we'll see such a wonderous creation.

As a student of zepplin combat, the only problem in that design would be the recoil and weight of the shells. Apart from that its a good idea, and use the spare weight in either armour or a crane to launch and recapture fighters.
You do have to tell us more on your study on Zepplin combat, perhaps this is not the right thread, but do tell us more on zepplin combatSir Humphrey said:
