Well not all divisions are fully mobilised i.e. sometimes the AI recruits divisions which are not at 100% strength. But armies are generally larger than IRL. Whether this is a problem or not depends if getting the numbers exactly right is more important than a challenging game.
IMHO it's ok now and will probably get more "real" as the game gets tweaked

Germany is probably able to keep so many divisions since it is the greatest power in the world. it exports wares for about 50000 everyday and it has a large population which means it could get a whole lot more in tax money, added to that he owns almost all of africa so he can create a lot of soldier pops, he could also keep a low defence budget and low supply budget etc. my standing army is approachin 2 million now and i have about 600000 in reserves. its 1913 i will post some screenies later
well the great war never came so i declared war against france together with Great Britain, Germany, Austria and SERBIA.

A 10-1 army ratio for Germany to France is disconcerting any way you slice it. Hopefully things can be mildly tweaked, perhaps just in terms of AI behavior, so that the German AI doesn't leave the others in the dust quite so poorly. If colonialism matters, it should really benefit the arch-military-colonizer, France, with its Force-Noir doctrine and its military empire in FWA.
I dont understand why germany is the only one colonising it must be tweaked for the next patch!

A tip is to avoid large wars because they need a lot of mp, i bought calcutta from britain to get a few million soldiers for this war hehe.

His alliance had around 20 million troops, all fighting against one nation. How can you be suprised France got torn to shreds? I'd be shocked if it didn't turn out like that. Nice to see Corsica was returned to it's rightful owner. Did colonies change hands?
Sorry, another North American still witout Vicky. What do the numbers represent in the national army comparisons? That 1,200+ number for Germany can't be a count of divisions can it? IF so, this scenario needs some serious tweaking...hopefully the number represents something else...(?)

plus im just trying this scenario out not playing very serously. I think germany was very nice to france only taking like 6 provs or somthn.the numbers represet divisions of the standing army, this means germany has an army of 12000000 not counting brigades!
i ended up by partitioning switzerland with germany and AH and then declared war on ah and got to fight germanys 5 million man army in the mountains guess who won! :rofl:
