OK, the thread title says it all.
First of all, why didn't Viccy start in 1820? I've heard some statement that Paradox people liked playing Texas, but why couldn't there by both a 1820 and a 1835 scenario if that was the case? Is there some other hidden reason?
Second, why add a 1820 scenario? I think its quite obvious, 1820 means another 15 years, matches up with the end of EU2, more scenarios is always nice, 1820-1920 is much neater then 1835-1920. Lastly, I have always thought of 1820 as the 'proper' start date for Viccy.
Seriously though, what about it? Why ISN'T there a 1820 scenario in Vic already anyways? For the same magic reason that no such scenario will appear in Viccy?
