You can try the unlimited time patch. The link is in a sticky in the editing forum.

btw, what`s the point of it? ur technology isn`t improving anymore so the game won`t be realistic after say 1850....
Are you not maxed out in your techs by then!
You can also start early, which works much better.

Sorry, I read it as your tech does not improve anymore (from where it was at 1819). :(
