Now to some more serious business:

England is way too uber. England is a monster. How can Aragon, Portugal, Burgundy, France just stand by and watch like this? Treaty of Munich, anyone? You gonna watch by while he does what he did to Denmark to all of us, in turn? Show some responsibility, and make some sacrificies... sure, it's more lucrative to just sit still and colonise... but try to see the bigger picture here....

there is ofcourse the *slight* difference that England and France actually *could* have done something usefull vs. Germany...........

I just hope I can act WW2 USA style sometime....

EDIT: And it seems that Aragon has almost allied England now.... sure Burgundy and France doesn't want to as well? And Portugal? You'll be safe then, no one can touch you. No one can ruin your great profit, ain't that a fun game?

just for future reference: those African provinces are DIRT POOR, the only reason they could've had some *real* value would've been if I had succeeded in keeping everyone from establishing colonies, which failed, as you can all see in Ivoria

but it was caused, in part, by getting NO explorers whatsoever untill the 1600's came around.

you see, random leaders are fair BEFORE THE GAME starts, but as soon as they are randomised, they no longer are... [tricky ]

1. No log reading and no loading the save as other nations (or looking at other nations in the save, for that matter).

I disagree. Aragon is plentiful uber as is, being the largest manufacturer of gold, owning most of Africa, and probably getting lots of English gold.

uber as in having approximately the lowest techlevels, an income per province well under average*- now, if there was a way for me to get MP from Africa THEN I might be uber... but I doubt thats gonna happen..

Sure, it's annoying that we don't have a perm Portugal - but no need to put the game even further unbalanced in England's favour...

may I remind you that it is also very difficult for an alliance to plan actions AGAINST England if one nation is subbed by a new player everytime?

* average income per province (total income of all human played countries/ total provinces owned by humans) is 51, Aragon has 40... Austria has 49, England 85, Burgundy 95
Obviously, Aragon ranks with England and Burgundy, rather than with Venice (40) or Denmark (35)

A better solution would be for Venice to inherit Portugal.... Why have two weak trading nations when we can have one stronger one instead..... :rofl:

In which case we have the ideal target for an Aragonese offensive: lots of rich, same culture- same religion provinces, and noone can claim that Aragon is way too big to take on the country

I never said I chose to fight England..... I said "before we have to" and I need to catch up ESPECIALLY compared to England, as England has the highest tech
