Please explain "stop"? You'r little war against England when Aragon claimed all of Africa, of course that is not acceptable. My first and only war this far was a defensive war, you can't blame me for defending myself can ya?

Hardly a defensive war when YOU intrude someone's land, even after being asked REPEATEDLY to cease.

and besides, you already have half of NA.. and you want even more...

the "stop" part is in:

50% more income than #2, uber economic techs.. by far the largest navy.. and the easiest defended homeland.

Additionaly, even in "normal" games England is often the strongest, but now you are about 2 centuries early AND none of your traditional enemies is present (portugal got jack sh*t for explorers and thus no advantage whatsoever, France misses half it's country, Spain doesn't exist, Holland doesn't exist)

You are speaking of france, aragon and porto, that are really far behind income wise, tech wise and certainly regarding navies. :rofl:

As a result, we re-affirm the status quo in Italy. We will not attempt to retake Firenze back from Aragon, nor will we take back any of the lands lost to the Turks. We trust that our neighbours (France, Aragon, Ottomans) will in return accept the current borders. We of course implicitly trust Austria on all such matters.

The king of Aragon welcomes this decision, though he remains somewhat wary... as we all know what happened a few decades ago, when the Doge had also proclaimed that he accepted the status quo.

For Hmmm information: Aragon embargoed us since war started without reason, later i read statement with asking money or whatever for lifting embargo.

..which reminds us, Aragon is willing to lift the embargo to Burgundy and England, provided that a mutually satisfactory arrangement concerning trade policies can be reached.

In fact, if those Iberian buggers had just joined - then it's possible that I wouldn't take anything at all. What I wanted from this war was not really land for myself, I just wanted England and Burgundy crippled. I was hoping that the naval powers could take colonies and overseas CoTs from them - but without the Iberians, England seems to be too powerful on the seas for that...

But the Iberians didn't seem to have any interest in that, after all... it's fairly understandable with Portugal, as it was subbed, but I'm dissapointed to see that Aragon - who earlier raised a strong voice against English powerteching and expansion - didn't want to help do anything about it..

Portugal: Neutral Friends. The English king decieded to share maps with Portugal in order to improve our nations relation. The Portugese people have always been friendly and they are a candidate to join the list of nations in the new English funding program.
