Hungary will become Austria if it controls Vienna in 1492.
What I assume we'll do is, at the nearest session end before that year, have Hungary release Austria as a vassal, at which time it'll recieve all of Hungary's provinces, its alliance, its royal marriages, its vassals, its treasury, its tech, its inflation and its BB.
I'll do the edit myself, if Hive wants, but it shouldn't take more than ten-twenty minutes.

why do we need an Austrian Austria though? why not simply Hungary?

Move Melchior to Austria and me to the Ottoman Empire. At the end of the game, we'll see how I've done.
Then, in ANO II, put Melchior in Hungary and me in the Ottoman Empire. Compare.
Oh, and Join the Revolution!

Austria inherits Bohemia, Hungary does not. Austria gets free conversions, Hungary does not.
Spain gets free conversions (4 total IIRC) and two culture changes, Aragon does not.
and besides, the leader issue is a non issue, since you could move them from Spain to Aragon aswell....

Austria is definetely better than Hungary on longterm (a lot of cultures, good chance for converting, late leaders), but quite worse for shortterm (Hungary has good leader in 1437, it is bigger at start). Usually Austria has nothing to inherit, because nobody waits for 100 years to let Emperor take Bohemia and Hungary.
