Yeah, everybody can run arround and annex half of the world, restrainoneself to not do it is much harder

Iche_Bins : eVERY game we have those hiper-fast AI but it get annexed fastly. In 1450 once Burgundy one of the major countries. In 1470 it was annexed.

That was very restrained of you. It is usually my only substantial military move as Brandenberg for the first 40 years or so.
Mecklemburg is really weaked by 1440. It Alliance Wiht Pommern , Prussia, and Teutonic Order can be easily crushed if I ally Poland. So those states are like my puppetsstnylan said:

Interesting developments there. Also nice to see someone willing to "give peace a chance" (at times ).
(I'll admit right away that I'm usually not too aggressive a player--I'll usually only attack someone if I have a casus belli or cores in their territories, though I'll occasionally wage a war of aggression here or there against some small, unallied country that just so happens to be on my border )

3. The War for Mecklemburg(1440-1443)
From Almost his reign, Friedrich I tried to have absolutly control of the Center of trade in Lubeck, Mecklemburg, peacefully. However, his son, now in the throne thinks different. Friedrich II soon clearly represented his wishes to annex Mecklemburg.
Just After his rise to the throne, the king asked for new armies. This was the first sign that the peacefull times were about to end.
In the Next months, Brandenburg accepted the offer to join the Polish Alliance. By This Time , Polish Alliance members were known as "Enemies of North Germany". Since 1410s, 3 wars already happened between the Polish Alliance towards North German States. It Was Clear now that Friedrich II was about to war versus Mecklemburg and Allies.
By This Time , North German was like it:
Finally, In June , 1441, the troops were ready and The State Of Brandenburg and it allies Hungary, Lithuania and Poland (Bohemia dishonored the alliance, maintaining the rivality vs. Brandenburg) were in war vs. The North German Alliance, composed by Mecklemburg, Bremen, Holstein, Sttetin, Prussia(Teutonic Order Disihonored)
The Next Month, all Brandenburg armies were succefull. Mecklemburg and VonPommern were sieged.
Many Months until the Fall of Mecklemburg. When Captured, the King refused the annexation , sayin that his alliance was still powerfull. In Fact, Just Holtein and Bremen Were free, since the other Sttetin prov was sieged by Poland.
So, the Army that originally was sieging Mecklemburg went to Holstein and a sieged was started there.
Soon VorPommern Falls:
Still, Mecklemburg wasn't accepting brandenburg victory, and refused again to annexation, just offfering it all treasure(Like 25d) . Brandenburg, wouldn't accept this little peace and so went to Bremen where the 3rd and last battle of the war happened, the battle of Bremen:
Soon Mecklemburg saw no hopes and acepted annexation:
However, the war continued for more a while vs. the other Countries. Poland wasn't able to conquer Hinterpommern, but In the First Month of 1443, Holstein felt to Brandenburg, and the king offered as alliance leader 27ducats. Friedrich II accepted, since he had no more interests in the war, once the Center Of Trade in Lubeck, Mecklemburg , was captured.
And So, by the first time since 1419, Brandenburg was impressively sucefull in a war. Now The Main CoT in Northen German and that also controlled Southern Scandinavia as now Brandenburg. But , the war caused more possible enemies for Friedrich II...

When it says Byzantines are annexed, which nation has that cool looking CoA on the message ?
