So, Communist China can either:

1. Conform to "True Communism" as Joe Stalin perceived it.

2. Stick with Mao's belief that it's actually the Peasantry, and not the Industrial Workers, that are the True Proletariat.

or 3. Make a Deal with the Nationalist Chinese Devil and create "Social Democracy", possibly as the CC take on the whole "United Front" NF of the Nationalist Chinese...

Interesting AH options here, no doubt about it.

Interesting AH options here, no doubt about it.

The third option may have something to do with the China Democratic League, made up of democratic socialists who, upset with Chiang's authoritarianism, sided with the Communists during the civil war. They're also the democratic party for China.

Or perhaps inviting the KMT Revolutionary Committee, the left wing of the KMT (including Madam Sun) that broke away from Chiang during the civil war.

I believe that is actually a communist Chinese flag, the sickle and hammer are too big for it to be a soviet flag

It's certainly the Chinese Communist tree - the name "Central Secretariat" is only used by India and China. The Russians and the Soviets never used it.

Also, I hope nobody missed this in the trailer - both the flagbearers are Chinese and wearing the field cap. If they wanted to represent Russo-Chinese cooperation, they'd model a Soviet soldier.

Alright, I'm pretty sure this is going to be Communist China. The teaser seems like an updated image of what the devs showed in the stream.

more like the peasants will install dengism! all hail socialism with chinese characteristics! Revolutionary maoist market socialist! capitalism for peasants!

yea, IMO kind of silly that Socialism with Chinese Characteristics is something that Mao does before the PRC is even proclaimed.
