Dear Eugen,

I'm sure your numbers match with my observations, but at least during peak hours for Pacific Time players, these rooms are eating up the player base. Now now, I know people really love the corridor game where they can zerg their tanks straight ahead on a 200m wide front, but this is the open beta and I just can't see what is supposed to be tested here. People aren't even playing Sword as much from what I can see in the 'running games' just a ton of 10v10 Colombelles.

Do we really need a 'Straight to the Point 40k' analog in a beta? The last two nights instead of using the Matchmaker (that no one is using btw) or even successfully finding a smaller lobby room, I've just said screw it and did some Comp stomp.

It's only a couple servers, but it seems to be depopulating everything else and I'm being subjective when I say this, but 10v10 on 4v4 maps are just the worst. Sure, maybe leave it in, but maybe cut it down to one Conquest and one Destruction server so maybe people will at least fill into the normal 10v10's if they simply must play a 10v10. At least Sword offers some chance to see something similar to the smaller games. Colombelles 10v10 doesn't have even a hope of that unless income and starting points are cut waaaaaaaaaay down.

Its everywhere. Its remind me mud fight everywhere from WGRD.

Because the map is simple by design: all armor player go a side, all infantry player another side.
Then buy unit, go in straight line, no much effort required or difficult bocage war. Toward phase B its start to become a Warhammer like ranged battle so much there are units everywhere with anything spammed from 20 players.
Got bored of playing it everytime. Thankfully some people still host the other maps in 3v3 / 4v4.

I would like Eugen to open servers with 6v6 or 5v5 on the others maps with a bit of a lower income to adjust it like its a 4v4 feeling.

I get that it's the casual mode, in the sense that comp stomps are as well. But aside from maybe testing how much of the population plays what match settings I can't see the point of having quite nearly as many 10v10 Colombelles servers as there are. Especially if one'll be able to host their own servers a la Wargame.

I kind of like the density of units on 10v10 Colombelles.

People like to play as one battlegroup amongst many. The fact that lots of people flock to 10v10 over everything else should show you that.

10 v10s have alway ate up a large chunk of the players and have always been unbalanced morasses. If they are going to have so many servers for it at least increase the variety.

Gotta agree that the 10v10 Colombelles is a cesspool of arty spam and not much else. You can't use anything but vehicles in those conditions, everything else gets annihilated or shot down, not much fun.
