So I've got my opponent up to 100% War Exhaustion. Besides the increased revolts and decreased productivity, can I expect anything more hitting my enemy? One would think 100% WE would be crippling, though it appears to be little more then an inconvience...

well it doenst work - I have Austria at 100% WE as South Itlay and i was offering the deals (hard ones true) and they did not accept for a time. It alos seemed that they did not have a lot of revolts. Everything should be going wild once you go over 60-80%. Please also fix that in mp if you have 30% and you offer a 10% deal the human player is forced to accept it or his we shoots up by 20% or 30% and gets revolts - otherwise its pointless playing..

My guess is the AI cheats badly on WE. And you do got a point, if it could be implemented that the AI would be forced to accept any peace deal at 100% WE it'd be great.

In my case Austria had been at war for about 15 years when it hit 100 WE. I won the war easily enough anyway - thanks to the AI helping me with its own encirclement and destruction (to coin a HOI phrase), but I expected something of interest to happen...

I think that the WE percentage should lower the cost of provinces when negotiating peace.. So that when you hit 100% WE you should give pretty much more to get the same effect. That much WE would make the leader of a country pretty desperate man anyway.. :D

I for example rolled over whole France as Austria, occupied and controlled all of their European provinces, had annihilated their army, and had their WE at 70%.. I also had taken almost all of their holdings and colonies in Africa. Yet all that I could claim were those african lands.

Ok, I could claim more, but they wouldn't give it. Out of 100% war score I could get maybe 70% worth of land.. And they really had no hope. I was tempted to try and see what happens when their WE reaches 100%, but then those pesky swedes started making invasions into Northern Italy controlled by me, and I was annoyed enough to take what I could get from France.. :eek:o

Perhaps a change in government would also be applicable after 70% or higher (depending on original government form).
