In EU2, you recieved an additional annual merchant for each monopoly you held in CoT's. Now, when I check my merchants per year, I notice that the tooltip reads: "monopoly: +1" -yet I have 3 or 4 monopolys. Apparently you receive one extra merchant for having a monopoly or more than one monopoly, but you don't get an extra merchant for each monopoly you have. Is this working as designed or a bug?

I actually like the way this works more than the EU2 "+1 for each monopoly" feature. The "+1 for each" benefit meant that if you already dominate world trade, you would simply increase your domination to the point where you could never again be challeged and your overwhelming economic advantage meant that the competetive phase of the game was over. Can anyone tell me if this is WAD? Thanks in advance
