First of all, I like the new expansion.
My main problem is I don't know wich nation to play. I already done 60% of the achievement and I'm running out of idea to waste my time of this games. I was wondering wich nation would be great to try and test all the new mechanic from the last expansion.

PS: I'm not of fan of OPM.

I liked Songhai in the new Africa map and new african tech speed, you've got a land route (with colonists) to the Maghreb, Ethiopia, and the Congo, and from there, lots of potential to own an entire continent. East africans also are nice with their own tech boosts.

I'm liking the Uzbek start on the new map. They can get an early gold mine from Kazan and keep it or vassal feed. It's simple to turn them to muslim tech making them into a real nice nation with good NI's. They're just really fun to play.

If you want to test the new expansion, maybe try to wave the 30Y war? Start a littler later, like 1478, when there is no Burgundy anymore, so Austria-Emperor is an worthy enemy, and choose a HRE minor, but not too minor. The Hansa if you prefer a trade route, or Switzerland, now that Administrative Republic was boosted with an autonomy reduction bonus, or some other depending on your preferences.

I'm choosing nations these days solely based on their map colour. Released Guyenne, Venice, Bahmanis, AQ, Theodoro, Air, Naples, etc. Do it - you'll thank me later.
