Reformed is actually really powerful I found out, normally I read the bonuses and forget about the switchable fevor bonuses, but a successful nation can have 1 bonus on all year round, and when one of those bonuses is -unrest that becomes hugely helpful for conquering empires, espesially with the tolerance of heathens stacking with humanist ideas you can conquer vast tracts of land and never get a rebel. Plus the diplo rep boost is good for back to back annexing vassals
He's talking about how converting provinces, with a missionary, says it gives +5 PI but currently gives you nothing.Yeah, I also received AI from forcing my religion. Are you referring to diplomatically forcing it or via peace terms? In my Prussia game, it was peace terms only because I didn't become Emperor until after 1650.
if you stay catholic
and everybody starts converting you pretty much gain more and more cardinals
also buff relations with papal state and bam you can take free stability every 5 years
I would highly recommend to vasslize them. The permanent +100% modifier on PI is just to good to not use.In my last Hungary game i was allied to Papa from the beginning, and we both shared the Curia control for the most time. PI gain was insane.
Why go protestant when you can go reformed. They have by far the best bonus in the game religious wise.
