1.8.1.0 > Flags not showing

I just started the game after purchasing WoN+RR through steam.
Problem: there are no flags

Is this a known bug? How can I solve it?

Here's an overview of the expansions installed.

The game is running version: v1.8.1.0 (5d13)

I also posted it in the bug reports but didn't get an answer yet which is why I post it here

Uninstall your game, and then delete the Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV folder. Make sure you backup your saves first.

Yup reinstalling is the only solution.

Actually before reinstalling try this: right click the game, properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.

When I had the same issue OP has, this solution didn't work, unfortunately. I had to fully reinstall.

Actually, the proper fix is between these two - just manually delete documents/paradox/eu4/gfx/ folder.

A full clean reinstall actually includes deleting that folder, so you must have missed it somehow.
