1.7 to 1.8 upgrade -> old save have some provices dispapear

Steam upgraded my EU to 1.8, I loaded a Poland save from previous version and some of provinces in Lithuania became terra incognita. Also one of my provices switched to Hungary.
Any idea how to make this save to work?

Did you run it for a month? They ought to fill themselves in.

I have run it for whole game year. Nothing changed.

OK, well I guess that's a compatibility issue between 1.7 and 1.8 then. My experience is 1.8 fills in the new provinces fairly sensibly, but it clearly failed in this instance. Probably best to roll back to 1.7.3 in the Steam EU4 beta tab, and pick up from before it was first saved under 1.8 , and play that game to finish.
