I really like the new Dutch Republic Statist/Orangist slider, though i'd suggest calling the ruler ''Raadpensionaris'' (lit. Council Pensionary/Grand Pensionary) when the Statist have some power. This because at the times when the States-General were in control the office of Stadtholder was vacant in Holland (the most important province) and the Netherlands were led by the Raadspensionaris of Holland instead (eg van Oldenbarnevelt)

- Loot & Income from Peace is no longer considered as monthly income for income calculations.
- To become unexiled a unit must be fully loaded onto ships.
- Colonies no longer affect religious unity.
- You now no longer get both opinion bonus & penalty when winning elections in an Elective Monarchy.
- Truce now scales per month, not just per year.
- Legitimacy is now set to 90 if a foreign ruler goes on the throne of an Elective Monarchy.
- In an Elective Monarchy, you now get the same dynasty on your noble if current ruler is local.
- Valid opposing rivalries should no longer cancel for the stronger nation at a monthly tick.

You do not understand. They increased precision in fabricate claim discovery, which should be better, but because they were not happy with current precision in fabricate claim discovery, which wasn't good enough they again increased precision in fabricate claim discovery which is now better.

Simple :)

There's an error with the Poland elective monarchy still.
You can't ever get a dynasty going because the heir system just doesn't work. Your "heir" is set to whoever has the most votes so your monarch never has a child or anything who can become king. In the events where an heir is ill or whatever it affects the foreign/Polish nobleman heir, too, which makes no sense, especially in the ones where it says your heir did something to make your dynasty ashamed.
Please fix the elective monarchy further so we can actually get a local dynasty that makes sense and can flourish.

Wouldn't that be a normal feudal monarchy?

It will work, but any achievments added after the moment you started the ironman run (pre-WON) probably will not be achievable.

No? What I'm saying is that if I elect a king and he has a child, that child should be able to be elected. But since the heir slot is taken by whoever has the most votes, they're never replaced and it's impossible for your king to produce an heir who can become king in turn. Events affecting heirs affect the person with the most votes, too, in nonsensical ways, such as what I gave as examples.

yeah, it's really funny when you get the choice of paying to heal the heir or just praying...

why spend $$ on a foreign heir?

My game did not automatically update to 1.7.3, even after I restarted steam twice.

Any help?
Works for everyone else, so has to be a problem in Steam or with your computer. Post in Tech Support if you need more help please.

Too bad Steam auto-updated and I can't revert back to 1.7 . I play with the MEIOU and Taxes Mod and sicne the 1.7.3 Hotfix my game crashes. Well, guess I have to wait for the mod team to fix it though reverting pre 1.7.3 would be have been awesome (and I don't want revert as far back as 1.6.2)
