1.6b Guardian issue for heir

I am king of Sicily and married the duchess of Dyrrachion who is a vassal of the Biyantine Empire. My heir is heir to both titles. I was king before the marriage, it is not matrilineal and the heir is at my court usually. He is now 6 and I tutor him. Yet or some obcure reason his tutor changes after a few months and I have no way to change it. He goes to some random count in Biyantium. I tried granting him a barony to fix this but it is the same all over. I don't know what to do to keep my heir.

I am now having a similar problem. It caused me to restart a game because I did not notice and my heir became orthodox which pretty much shattered my kingdom.

You have to provide a save game for this. Its way bizarre but they have to look at it and at the code to figure it out.

XD. Where should I upload the file for a save game? And it is bizarre. And a pain.

Just found the issue. The emperor asks my wife to choose a guardian in the empire for the orthodix faith. After that I can't decide anything.maybe I should tweak the event for the AI to answer no.

Still a problem, since its your son and not your wife's son. You are the King, so the Emperor has no legal right to make any demands from YOUR heir, without first getting your permission. That's the kind of stuff that would get her locked up in the tower.

Make sure that the PI staff is made aware of this event, since I'd hate for it to show up in one of my games and screw me up.

SO I tried to divorce her and it still has no effect. I can't find the event in the files to change it. Playing as the Bizantian emperor I get no event and I can not ask the duchess to edcate the son. My game is totally screwed right now. Lucky I have a save before the marriage but I would like to have a way to fix this nonsense.

You should have a Manage Attachments option in this thread but, if your compressed save file is too big to be attached, upload it to an external file hosting service such as MediaFire and post the link to the file here. Also, what ID does the event have or do you have a screenshot of it you could attach too?

I have uploaded a save file. You have to speed a few months at max speed it happens between may and jun in most games. As sicily you will have the heir simply go to another court. As Dyrrachion you will get an event. As Biz nothing happens and the heir stays in place.
