I've been playing England/GB since the last patch and have noted the following issues (some are my opinion) with the colonial and native american nations:
- CN AI: I have yet to see them attack a single native nation, even with a huge tech and military advantage and no allies for the natives to worry about
- While the AI seems passive in most all cases with natives, I noticed it's not allowed to attack a nation that has European religion; which means it's basing the limitation on attacking "primitives" on religion as opposed to tech
- CN AI: They establish protectorates with native nations when they would be far better off conquering them
- CN AI: They are really slow convert provinces, even though they are easy provinces to convert
- Natives are westernizing a bit too easy (I know this is subjective, but westernizing in 1590 seems a bit much)
- When a native nation is still primitive in tech but has European religion, you cannot fully annex if the war score is over 100 but you are still prevented from vassalizing them (must be protectorate); this seems inconsistent and I doubt WAD
- Native nations released as protectorates are Feudal Monarchy and releasing nations religion. Is this WAD?
- EDIT: forgot one: My native american protectorates are joining federations; in one case I have wound up at war with my protectorates because of this
