Yes. The Strategic Interest / Leader Personality checks are gone.
Inheriting existing wars when you take a new vassal will no longer break all your alliances or causes any stab hits.
Hello guys, could you tell me when show up M&T to ver. 1.5 ?Tahnks.
I have a question.
Changelog says that the Steppe Nomads can no longer become Protectorates, but before the patch, while I was still playing with 1.4, Russia made Kazakh her Protectorate, so if I load my game now, will that agreement fall? Or it will continue? Is there something I can do about it?
Do you know the exact formula, how the necessary warscore for the force vassalisation is calculated?Teutonic Order has 41 Sum of Province Base Tax at the start of the game in 1444.
That 41 Base Tax translates into a 216% Vassalisation WS requirement, which after the 50% Mission discount is only 108%
Do you know the exact formula, how the necessary warscore for the force vassalisation is calculated?
I always hate to find myself in a war reading "102% warscore needed"...
The Bloke,
thank you for this great guide.
I'm not sure if the question has been asked already but I don't want to read through all 8 pages so apologizes if this question has been asked before.
I am Savoy and have Milan as vassal. Milan has claims on Liguria, Modena and Corsica and a core in Brescia (owned by Venice). I conquered Liguria and feed Milan Liguria so I don't have to core the province myself (too expensive). Will Milan at some point change their relationship from Vassal to Hostile if I keep feeding it provinces? Milan grows stronger with every province I feed them. I plan to feed them Corsica Modena and Brescia, too once I conquered them.
Savoy is still a relative small country - I only annexed Provence but I have strong allies. So will Milan betty me on the long run if I make them stronger? I currently have +170 relations with them.
I hope someone can answer my question. Thanks!
Thanks for your reply.
Milan never rebelled and so far I have diplo-annexed many countries and none ever went hostile or rebelled. So it's just the same as in 1.4.1 Only difference is that the HRE gets insanely mad when I complete the annexation of a vassal..
Then take their land...
Which is kind of nice, as you get to play the parent telling the crazy kids that the nonsense has to stop now. :happy:I don't know if this was in 1.4 as well but I can Enforce Peace on a defender of a war in which a protectorate started.

Ah cool, no I don't know if that was in 1.4 either. It's the same mechanic as how you join a Colonial Nation war that your own CN started.
So when your Protectorate starts a war, you are not auto-called (only when they are attacked are you called), but you can intercede. Yeah I like that! Thanks for the details.
