- You will no longer get increase AE from actions just because you are a bigger country.
- All impact on AE from war & peace now scale, there are no fixed values there anymore.

- World Conqueror & Three Mountains: You need to have the entire world under your control.. All countries should either be conquered or a subject of you. Subjects = Vassal, Colony, Lesser Union or Protectorate.
- Jihad now 'only' requires owning 500 cities, and having 100% religious unity.

I particularly like this one, this means I no longer get 3.5 times of AE just because I am 100 provinces or bigger.

yeah, while it was the design we wanted, we realise that those who grow that big want to paint the map, and AE scaling just makes it impossible.

In my opinion, it's not AE, but coring duration and OE that limits WC. I can deal with the fact everyone hates me, but mechanically limiting any expansion (bar vassal feeding) to ~1 province per year is awkward and leaves no options for the player.

Everyone who really tries WC will succumb to vassal feeding sooner or later.... Save the 'no feeding' house rule for normal play :)

I don't really like the change to the Jihad achievement. The AE not depending on country size will already make it considerably easier anyway, and I really don't think you should be able to ignore the catholic infidels while on a Jihad.

But that's just me ofcourse, so I guess I'll just pretend it still has the same requirements :D

500 cities? Or 500 Provinces? This is good, since owning all of Africa, Asia and Europe was very similar, and only slightly easier than, a World Conquest Achievement starting as a Mullim Tech country. To also require converting Eurasia and Africa to Sunni, It's probably the 2nd hardest achievement. Only The Three Mountains Achievement is a step above.

The way it is now, you might as well get Exploration/Expansion Ideas in the late game and conquer the world as Najd.

For the World Conquest achievement, France, Austria or Muscovy seem the best way.

Does this imply that you are nixing the province count modifier on AE altogether? I was secretly hoping it would be made into a smaller interval scale instead of the current leveled setup, but isn't it going to be very easy to manage AE to avoid coalitions entirely now?

Ugh. I could see reducing the impact of size, but removing it was a bad move. Mitteleuropa moving to conquer should be MUCH scarier than Savoy doing the same thing.

Can this be modded back in? I really liked the scaling AE according to size for smaller nations; being able to annex stuff with no one caring as an OPM and then gradually having to worry more and more about how your big, scary neighbors are viewing your actions.

Perhaps have a scaled AE reduction for small nations, say under ~15 provinces?

I guess it's a lot easier to implement this than to allow for multiple coalitions against the same target, and have those coalitions be restricted through relations, religion, distance etc. I don't mind that the ottomans and the timurids are joining up against me, but it's a bit weird that on the exact same day both ming and denmark also decide to declare war on me.

But yeah, the people worrying about AE are typically the ones who want to conquer as much as possible anyway, when you're doing a peaceful playthrough, or just want to form a nation from an OPM, you'll hardly run into AE issues anyway
