Note that both England and France had guaranteed Czechoslovakia as soon as Germany began the Sudetenland focus.

At about 30 minutes in on this you tube Let's Play of Czechoslovakia in 1.4, Munich fires and the player refuses to give up the Sudetenland. The event write up clearly states that if the Czechs don't agree England and France will not support them.

But as soon as the choice to refuse the Munich Diktat is made and Germany declares war, Czechoslovakia is able to call France and England (and the Commonwealth) into the war as allies.

@podcat Is this supposed to happen like this?

Just so you know, it's has always been this way. I have reported it like year ago...

Well aware that this was happening prior to 1.4. I was however hoping that with the attention paid to Czechoslovakia in DoD that this issue would have been addressed so that either the Munich diplomacy acts like the event implies or that the Munich event info provided with the choice of actions was corrected.

Unfortunately after seeing the 4th episode of this Let's Play where Germany blindly declared war upon Poland despite already being at war with the Czechs, French, entire Commonwealth, and Belgium, and having few units on the Polish border it appears the diplomacy code and focus conflicts have not been fixed regarding these issues. This was brought home when the news event flashed that Italy had chosen closer ties with Germany which was sadly funny, considering that Italy had already joined the Axis and was fighting inside France. You would have thought low hanging fruit like that focus would have had a bypass code line fix added if Italy was already in the Axis.

I am holding one last glimmer of hope that the Let's Play is based upon an old build of 1.4 and DoD.
