Just wish to know if the patch 1.4 would be a major patch or a minor patch? Like, would it change the overall appearance and playablity of the game too much or too little? If Johan could shed some light or anyone of you, I would be thankful as it would relieve me of my anxiety. Thanks

Conservatism
I think you have a very good point here, but this would require a completely different set of pop-ideology preferences for every party in every constitution, which seems a little bit unrealistic.
However, not impossible.
And as for the debate about "conservatives"; the definition of a "conservative" might not be the same as the political ideology conservatism... It has double meanings. I could also be conservative to be against changing of the current system. In that case, there could also exist "conservative socialists" in a proletarian dictatorship...

i am unhappy about that, that 1.4 is coming out.
i hoped a new "from scratch" Vic2 would be released in 2006, now i can expect it around 2010

I'm glad Paradox still care about Victoria, it's not as if it was the most best selling game ever :/ I hope VIP 0.5 will come out soon after the 1.4 patch =) I'm glad people spend time making mods for Paradox games =)

As a sidenote, I just reforged the Byzantine Empire to (almost) their historical borders and as Catholics on Normal/Cowardly.

I would be very surprised (but pleased) if there's a Vic2 anytime before 2008, if ever. I certainly wouldn't expect it until after an EU3, if they ever do one.Raul said:i am unhappy about that, that 1.4 is coming out.
