[1.4.1](86d1) Design company vanish from 1.4 save

Description:

The design company on already searched equipment disappear from a 1.4 save loaded in 1.4.1.

DLC Information:

Anniversary pack
Historical German Portraits
Poland : united & Ready
Together for Victory
Allied music pack
German march order pack
Rocket launcher unit pack

Mods:

More NATO icons
More Theater symbols

Reproduction Steps:

Load a game started in 1.4 where you already have some equipment with some design company.
Check the production panel, all company icons vanished.
Check the variant panel, all bonus removed.

Save and screen in attachment.

I can confirm this problem. It happens often, when a patch or a mod gets an update.

you can Open 'Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV\settings.txt' with a text editor and change 'save_as_binary=yes' to 'save_as_binary=no' to allow you to edit the save file.

Just to add to this bug report (it happened to me over the last few days). I tried switching between game versions from 1.4.1 back to 1.3.3 and saw something interesting. I loaded an old game using the latest patch version and the design companies disappeared. However, when I reverted to 1.3.3 and loaded the game the design companies came back! After checking the save game file, there were design companies listed in it.

So running a test. I loaded the 'working' save game from patch 1.3.3 (attached file 'stu_game3_2'), using the latest 1.4.1 version and then saved it without changing anything (file 'convert_to_1_4_1') and the design companies disappeared again.

I was playing as UK, but I'm assuming that this occurs for AI players but didn't check.
