[1.4.1.0 ea04] Crashes and Bugs, please help :(

Hi Paradox,

I had a great time palying EU4 untill today.

Firstly my PC froze while I was playing EU4, I suspected something had to do with memory. So could save game file have been corrupted?

Upon re-starting, saved game was no longer in Ironman Mode, there is a rebel seige with 0 man and cannot be resloved as well as crashes at the 1st of the month (Not every month, mostly 2 or 3 months a crash; no autosave)

I have done a clean re-install, checked/un-checked mods, still issues won't be sloved please help as like many others invested a significient amount of time in this save.

I have attatched the Dxdiag, the EU4 flogs to the thread.

The saved game is just over the limit, is there away of posting it?

I can only get to these forums about once a day, there's no point in bumping after only a couple of hours.

But yes, it sounds like your save game was corrupted during the PC freeze. Also there is a known bug in 1.4.1 that can turn Ironman games to non-Ironman during a tag change; that's fixed in the 1.4.1.1 beta but there's still some other cause of that happening, which is still being investigated. Upload your compressed save game to any file hosting site and post a link to it here.

As it's non-Ironman now, the good folks over in User Mods can help you edit those sieges out. If that doesn't help with the crashes, though, then there's no real hope, sorry.
