1.32 just introduced the most broken nations in the game and it is basically too overpowering.

This thread is a joke right? African tags receive some modestly alright idea sets and mission trees and they're the post overpowered nations in the entire game? Is that genuinely your position OP? Better than Ottos, France, Mughals, Yuan...?

I'm not surprised by threads like this anymore, not after seeing how vocal some people can be when it comes to Ming not getting nice things. Popularity (of game) brings populism (the bad kind) I guess.

Theocracies in general get -45% when fully reformed. These are generically available:
  • -45% theocracy
  • -20% diplomatic
  • -10% religion (Catholic, Hussite, Islamic-specific monument)
  • -15% Malta monument
  • -10% military hegemon
I believe this modifier caps at -90%, and we're not even considering age of reformation's 25%, missions, or national ideas. Catholic or Sunni may find they still have to do more than one war vs some opponents, since the bulk of these modifiers are vs other religions rather than generalized like diplo/indigenous.
I think Province War Score reduction and War Score vrs other Religions are counted as separate modifiers and would each have a separate cap, no?

Not even close. It's only hard if you deliberately make it difficult. The disaster itself is relatively easy when you can immediately get three of them out of the way with estate usage. The next part of it is conquering Timbuktu and Songhai; Which both give stability. Conquering Jolof gives a major amount of administrative points.

Utilize what you have immediately, players that wait around shoot themselves in the foot. You're in a disaster afterall, every disaster in the game is get the hell out of it ASAP.
It is the hardest nation if you don't get rid of at least the first two on the right side immediately. I was just messing around and my god those events kill you. The second time though once I actually read the mission tree it was pretty normal to get through. Its not something id recommend doing in a multiplayer game though.

That's what I've seen as well, -WS vs. other religions is just a conditional -WS.

It's not entirely unheard of to work this way, off the top of my head there's also -cost of advisors with ruler's culture which is additive with -advisor cost.
