You already fixed save for me so definitely make this low priority but the original save and another game I was playing managed to brick.

No problem if you can't get to it but either way, I think I'm going to wait for the next patch before I continue these campaigns.

I have a game that has been one of the best games I've ever played. Really enjoying Leviathan when it works. However, the save is corrupted. I have attached it, and would hugely appreciate it if you could recover it.

I hope this bug gets fixed soon, game is unplayable if you can't save it.

Back again... oops. Made it 50-60 yrs. Really just trying to finish this run and then I'm shelving EU4 until they fix this. Nonetheless, I would be so grateful if you could recover this save.

SIDENOTE: Is the process for recovery complicated? If it's not too bad and you are able to explain it then we, the community, could get out of your hair and stop pestering you on your weekend

For a few reasons I can't really share it. And yeah, it isn't exactly super simple for the slightly less tech savvy people I imagine.

To clarify once again: continue isn't what corrupts savefiles, it's what makes corrupted savefiles unrecoverable.









Hey. Skanderbeg only fixes the issue provided you are willing to lose ironman. You can post the saves here though to retain ironman.

Would love your help with this one. This is an ironman save, but one I've been making backups for given this problem. I thought maybe reloading from a healthy save would allow me to avoid corruption, but it reliably corrupts from the first set of saves.

There are two sets of saves here. The first one is from before corruption. The second one is a couple years later after corruption. Not sure which is easier to fix but I'd take either one. Thank you!
