Mali area still has a few tags left. At this stage countries with the most war score are always prioritized. Countries with lower than 100 war score can be left until the end.

The cultural makeup of Western Africa is too fragmented to promote culture every time. 70 CCR comes in handy.

295.jpg

Peru wars were started after Inca formed to get this event. Small boost but still helps.

Sweden lost its independence war and lost Stockholm to Denmark. This meant an extra truce break to take Stockholm back, return it to Sweden, then take Sweden's new capital.

Colonist arrives in Rukwa. Two more trips before Exploration is no longer needed.

297.jpg

Spain colonizes towards Navajo. A total of about 1000 days of colonist travel time is the New World bottleneck for the finish date.

298.jpg

Chinook still won't migrate towards me.

299.jpg

Japan almost finished.

300.jpg

No country above 100 war score is left in Asia.

France forced into the HRE.

302.jpg

Two more trucebreaks left for Spain.

303.jpg

Same for England. Not being able to force capitals wasted a lot of time.

304.jpg

Spain and England are the only two countries left still above 100 war score.

305.jpg

Africa almost finished, rest is saved for the end.

306.jpg

Second to last colonist.

307.jpg

Five years before the end.

308.jpg

Almost up to 500 ducats/month trade income.

309.jpg

Took Spain's colony.

310.jpg

The last colonist arrives in 128 days. During this time every country left in the world is declared on.

311.jpg

Around 20-25 countries left in total. Each is peaced out as soon as possible to free up diplomats for the end.

312.jpg

Up to tech 13 now. The plan was originally to get tech 13 without Colonialism then tech up to 14 with Colonialism embraced. This would allow for another idea group, but adm points were scarce.

Forgot about Maldives.

314.jpg

Most of the Guinea region need to be cored myself. There was no time originally to peace out, bring vassals over from Maghreb and grant them land. Transfer Occupation can't be used due to vassals' lack of war score cost reduction.

315.jpg

Can't tech up due to the number of times needed to switch out Admin for Exploration.

316.jpg

If Exploration could be switched out 2-3 less times, the finish date could be 4-5 years shorter.

317.jpg

19/20 months coring time without Admin or primary culture. Faster to sit on the OE, wait for colonist to arrive then core after Admin is switched in.

318.jpg

Separatist rebels need five years to flip provinces. All rebels spawned within five years of the finish date can be ignored unless they occupy uncored province.

319.jpg

Overextension needs to be brought down or else Renovatio Imperii cannot be passed. Whatever land that can be given away is.

Official finish date: 1568 October 10th.

Religion/Economy.

322.jpg

Mercs tanked professionalism.

323.jpg

Idea groups were canceled for monarch points.

324.jpg

Map before Renovatio Imperii.

325.jpg

Around 2/3 of the world were self-cored. Most were razed and given away later.

Pressing the button.

Final development.

The run can be improved in several aspects aside from micro mistakes. The decision to convert to Hindu may not have been for the best. The expansion path late game, leaving Africa for last, was not efficient. I received help from many skilled players on Discord and via PMs as well as from a group of expert Chinese players. The run could not have been completed without their advice. Thanks for reading.

Pretty dramatic at the end, and have to hand it to Chinook for trying to stay out of your way for as long as possible :D

Congrats :)
Quite an achievement.

And thanks for your explanation here how you did this :)

However you have also shown here (at least for me) some critical failures in game design.
One example (there are more) of that is the ease with which you can change your primary culture.

Stunning.

A lot of problems stem from Tributaries being broken in many ways and Trade Companies being absurdly OP to the point that states barely matter. This run combined a whole bunch of clever uses of mechanics that synergised. This is really next level stuff.

It's a bunch of exploits combined with broken mechanics because nothing about MoH and its accompanying free patch ever got looked at more than once, followed by intensive micro.

The only clever thing to see is the mapping. Opening was perfect down to a t.

The rest is just a matter of chosing the right patch and doing a full WC's micro in a century.

...I think I can guess. It would be similar to forcing other nations into HRE.

100% somebody, and give them Paris. In the next war, take Paris for yourself. Add to HRE and give back to France. In another war give away Frances capital, so their capital moves back to Paris.
