In other news, I just realized the Daimyo in Kazusa is Chiba - a rather odd pick in my opinion, but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Also, I think I might have spoken a little too soon about the Kakizaki; I think Oshima is actually owned by the Anto clan of Northern Dewa, which is actually historical (as the Kakizaki were formally vassals of the Anto).

I've always viewed Azai and Amago as the proper pronunciations.

尼子氏（あまごし） Amago Clan
浅井氏（あざいし） Azai Clan

Ando seems to be the more correct pronunciation out of the two, yes. I just first saw them as Anto and I guess it stuck.

Honestly, nobody knows. Even historians disagree - one that I can immediately think of is that Stephen Turnbull (perhaps the most prominent Japanese historian in Britain) favours Amako.

The problem is that, for example, the 子 kanji can be either ko or go when used in compounds, and there isn't a hard rule about when each one is used. For example, 玉子 tamago 'egg' uses go, and the countless female names that end in 子 always use it as ko.

I haven't met an English speaking Japanese who favors Amako over Amago. Same with Azai. Ando, oddly, seems to be a little more divisive.

It's in South Henan area and has been criticised at least since EU3 for being ahistorical (as in the name being made up). I'm not particularly knowledgeable on China so I can't say whether the name's made up or not.
Also IIRC it used to be spelled Running with a double n and I also remembered it as located to the south of that central Chinese lake and not to the north of it so perhaps the old one, which was criticised, is gone and this is a new one. Don't know.

Hopefully not English wikipedia, because over there it is not written that modern Changzhi (长治) in Shanxi was known as Lu'an (潞安) in Ming times. Likewise it won't tell you that Runing (汝宁) in Henan is now known as Runan (汝南).

It may come as a surprise but not everyone that wants something changed in this game is in the right
As you all may recall the Chinese map was designed by a Chinese modder for Art of War and he has also been with us for the newly added provinces in the greater China area

Well, we were actually talking about how people were complaining about the Balkans before anyone actually had yet to complain about the Balkans in this thread, so that ironically makes you the first person to bring up a Balkan expansion.

No, no, there is definitely a pattern of people complaining about Balkans complianers way before any actually pop up. Its a trend that has been going on for quite some time now. Those are actually way more common and annoying than us, poor Balkanites.

Unfortunately, I can't find any english source. The wiki is written with all sorts of ancient location name that I myself amn't 100% confident to understand correctly so I'm reluctant to translate it. However I do have some maps with me, although in Chinese, you should be able to understand Ru'ning's location follow my basic annotation.

Yuan dynasty (1330):
河南江北行省 is colored green, I've highlighted out yellow river, Ru'ning and yangtze river. Note that yellow river changed its path in 1351, the old one is colored red.

The province got split and now it's standalone 河南省, due to this change, only yellow river is included
