  • market highlights is a nice one
one con stands out when building, in states where a building isn't present the number of potential buildings gets obscured against the green background.

personally I would have loved a remove button in the building interface (for when i click one too many times)

I want to add two of my thoughts:

1. Currently, in the province view every resource in the game is presented, even if the state does not even have the potential to produce it and can't be built. Why? Makes no sense imo and just clutters up the UI.

2. I would like the ability back to open the construction queue by clicking the red bricks button in the top right. For some reason that was removed.

What I dislike is now it's somehow even more difficult to click on a front or on a battle. Not sure what happened there wit the fronts but I think you moved the position of the flag in battles and now I have to reset my muscle memory. One suggestion I have is removing the link to the country in question if you accidentally click on the flag. It's very frustrating even in 1.1 since you have to essentially guess if you click correctly or not. 1.1 has better front clicking but even that could be vastly improved in that version. In 1.2 it's even more difficult.

Something seems to have broken here, I'll file a bug for it. Thanks for pointing it out!

Does clicking on that building actually shows you that building menu or is it still "ups i build it again"?
Can one undo build order by rightclicking in that menu or wasn't that implemented (will it?)?

Left-clicking here will navigate you to the details panel for the Livestock Ranches in Southern Manchuria, right-clicking opens this menu where you can downsize, among other things.

One problem that I've always had with the UI is that because most buttons are in the edge of the screen, I accidentally touch the edge, causing the map to pan. Is there a way to set a timer to delay a bit the response of edge of the screen?

Glad I'm not the only one bothered by that!

Another thing I would love to see fixed is that lists reset after each click. So you scroll down to select something, click on it, and it automatically puts you back at the top. Then you have to scroll down again and find . Vic3 is not the only PDX game that suffers from this (I think CK3 has it as well, most annoyingly when trying to split armies manually), so maybe this will one day be fixed across the board.

But I'm glad 1.2 is a good step forward on the UI side of things! And maybe there'll even be some changes before 1.2 will be officially released.

I disable automatic panning and use middle mouse click to pan instead. Works like a charm in Stellaris and Vic3. Sometimes stops working in CK3 for some reason, but that’s its own bug report.
