1.2 Patch is out - on launcher

I installed the "Free Download Manager" and I got the 1.2 patch, much faster.

I have the steam version i d/l , ran the .exe. i t created a Heart of iron 3 folder in my program files dir, I copied all files and subfolders into my steam HoI3 dir and it works fine.

Doesnt work for me. What OS do you use? XP, Vista, Win7?

Using free dl manager is good for you and sucks for everyone else including paradox. The connections alone reduce the overall speed of other people, not to mention you're stepping on top of other people by using 10x the speed.

If you use one, fine, but keep it to yourself don't get 400 other people using it.

This advice is worth repeating. Someone using 10 slots to download with an app like FDL means 9 other people are going to be denied

Again, the 9 extra connection hits reduce the sum of all bandwidth to less than 100%. One or two people might not have much of an effect but extolling the virtues of d/l managers to tons of people goes past pissing off Kant (which is easy) to pissing off Bentham (which means you're really screwing something up).

Means your download was cut off in the middle because of the server load, you'll have to try again.

Having no luck with the patch download, this kind of sucks.

It means that the download failed and the file is corrupt. You have to re-download...

For people who have problems with download speed: use free download manager. I was downloading at 10 ko/s maximum with my browser and with free download manager, I'm at 430 ko/s.

I thank it too. I had a speed of 2623 B/s (!!!) before installing this program. Suddenly, I could use all my 6M bandwith Thanks again.
