Even though I am new to the forum, just from reading all of the updates, I am almost positive that the Devs are not wanting to hear any more questions about the release. I am sure they are working very diligently trying to make as many people happy with the patch.
What CTD? That's the first I've heard of it.
Crash to Desktop? I had it a few times when exiting the game, but that's it.

Same here. Anyhow, Beg_Birdal, if you can reproduce your CTD, you should post about it in the Bugs subforum (if you haven't already).
a beta-singleplayer-only patch would be nice
It would be nice. But I can wait.
Going on two weeks leave (forced leave, as I haven't taken any in ages) next week, so as long as it comes out by the end of the week, I'll be happy.
If not, I'll continue playing with the mods.
The only crash to desktop that I have experienced in the limited time I have played Victoria II has been during the Tutorial when I made that amphibious assault on the Netherlands. I tried again and it crashed. But the third time I tried there was no CTD and I was able to complete the Tutorial.
The only CTD's I've had were while modding but those are expected cause I just wreak havoc with the game
I'd rather not have a beta for this patch. Beta's are great when your onto version 1.4 or something, but for what is essentially the first patch (given that it was released as 1.1) i'd rather wait and have a full patch then get frustrated with a beta!a beta-singleplayer-only patch would be nice
You'd rather get frustrated with a full patch? The only issue left to resolve in 1.2 is the MP OOS bug. This IS a full patch, just with a broken MP. And apparently 80% have no problem at all with it.
Thats not what I said. I said i'd rather wait for a full patch than have a beta. If as you say the only problem at the moment is with MP, then as I only SP from a selfish perspective i'd liek the patch released now with a note that MP is bugged and needs to be fixed in the next patch.

i want a beta patch also, i just play singleplayer and hopefully that way when the multiplayer bugs get sorted out then the people who play mostly multiplayer can enjoy it when the final 1.2 patch comes out.
My game crashes around every 4 years in the beginning of the game. Later its about every 10 years. No apparent reason. Completely random.
